Glen De Boeck Managing Director Herculean

13 January: Former top soccer player (i.a. KV Mechelen, Anderlecht and Red Devils) and trainer (Cercle Bruges, Germinal Beerschot, Venlo and Waasland Beveren) abandons soccer and makes a remarkable career switch to the corporate life.

From being a trainer in top soccer to becoming the MD at Herculean, the corporate wellbeing company: De Boeck has never done anything else than going for top class. Glen: “Herculean is the best sequel to my professional soccer career. Soccer has given me so many memorable moments and it was a unique experience. I’d like to take this experience now to the business world. I strongly believe in the sustainability and quality of Herculean and I really look forward to contribute to its long-term success.”

In order to support the founders in the international growth and to reinforce corporate governance, Glen will come on board as the Managing Director of the company. His first focus will be further growth in Belgium, Herculean’s home market. He will be leading a management team of 10 managers and will report directly to the Founders who will still preside the Council and Advisory Board.

Yves Vekemans, founder of Herculean, is delighted about the new Managing Director:”We strongly believe in Glen as a person, in his leadership skills and in his pragmatic approach. He fits the specific Hercules company culture, he has the same values and has a passion for sports, health and a balanced lifestyle.” It’s an important milestone for the corporate wellbeing company that aims to inspire the fans to aim for balance and pursue personal happiness.
